Fujiyama Power Systems says machinery for solar cell manufacturing facility already delivered to plant at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh
Fujiyama Power Systems Limited (“the Company”) wishes to clarify that the machinery and equipment required for its announced 1.2 GW DCR (Domestic Content Requirement) solar cell manufacturing facility have already been delivered to its plant at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. Accordingly, the Company does not anticipate any material impact of the proposed restrictions on the capital expenditure or the timeline of this expansion, and the facility remains on track to be commissioned as originally planned, i.e. in Q1 of FY 2027-28. At this stage, the Company has not announced any plans for additional solar cell manufacturing capacity.
The Company is engaged in the retail-focused rooftop solar business, in which it manufactures and supplies Solar Power Generation Systems (SPGS) comprising solar inverters, solar batteries and solar panels. Solar panel manufacturing is a backward integration of this business, and solar cell manufacturing is a further backward integration for solar panel manufacturing. Accordingly, the Company does not foresee any material impact of the proposed restrictions on this expansion and the facility is expected to be commissioned, as originally envisaged. The Company’s operations are not dependent on any ongoing foreign technology transfer and remain fully unaffected.

US earnings season: Justin Khoo, Senior Market Analyst - APAC, VT Markets, talks about Al growth, valuations and rising investor caution
The ongoing US earnings season reflects a market that is becoming increasingly selective, with investors looking beyond headline profit growth to assess the sustainability of corporate earnings. According to early results, 84% of reporting S&P 500 companies have beaten earnings estimates, but the aggregate earnings surprise stands at just 2.6%, well below the five-year average of 7.5%. Meanwhile, blended earnings growth is projected at 29%. While AI-driven companies continue to deliver strong results, concerns around elevated valuations, rising borrowing costs and returns on AI investments are gaining prominence. With US Treasury yields nearing 5% and the S&P 500 trading at around 19 times forward earnings, investors are likely to focus on earnings quality, cash flow generation and broader market participation. The sustainability of the rally will depend on companies delivering growth that justifies their valuations.

Market review by Vikram Subburaj, CEO, Giottus.com
Bitcoin is trading around $84,700, extending its recovery as risk appetite improves. Immediate resistance lies around $84,850. A sustained break above this level could open the way towards 87,000-87,400. Support is near 83,000-83,550, followed by 81,700-82,000. The recovery remains vulnerable if Bitcoin fails to hold these support zones.
ETF flows show tentative improvement. US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $228.4 million between October 12 and 16. They then attracted $526.7 million on October 19, followed by a further $23.2 million in net inflows on October 20. The rebound points to renewed institutional interest, although flows remain volatile and need to stay positive to confirm a stronger trend.
On-chain indicators offer a mixed picture. The latest available readings showed Bitcoin’s MVRV at 1.5249 and NUPL at 0.3442 on October 14. SOPR stood at 0.9987, indicating that recently moved coins were being spent at a slight aggregate loss. Around 63.37% of supply had remained unmoved for at least a year as of October 20. These figures are delayed and do not rule out further volatility.
Large-cap altcoins are mostly higher. Ethereum traded near $2,475, up 0.90% over 24 hours. BNB was around $749, up 1.31%. XRP stood near $1.39, up 4.73%, while Solana traded around $108, up 1.94%. TRON was near $0.33, down 0.17%. These are indicative snapshots and may vary by timestamp.
Macro conditions remain important. A Reuters poll found that 94 of 100 economists expected the US Federal Reserve to hold rates at 3.75%–4.00% at its October 27–28 meeting. All respondents expected a rate increase in December. Inflation and energy prices remain key risks.
Our advice: Investors should avoid chasing the rebound. Watch Bitcoin’s resistance near $84,850, ETF flows and Fed signals before increasing exposure.

Commodities market: Mudrex Lead Quant Analyst Akshat Siddhant's take
Gold retreated toward $4,120/oz as the Saudi Aramco drone strike reignited oil-driven inflation concerns and pushed Treasury yields higher. While markets assign less than a one-in-six chance of a Fed hike next week, expectations of a December increase remain firm. Silver also weakened to around $57.5/oz, hovering near multi-week lows. Meanwhile, WTI crude held near $98/barrel after briefly crossing $100, with stronger Middle East crude flows offsetting renewed supply concerns. On the currency front, the rupee strengthened 53 paise to a six-week closing high of ₹94.38/$, supported by RBI intervention.

BitDelta India Lead Analyst Purvang Mashru on the crypto market
Bitcoin gained 1.7% to about $84,268 and Ethereum rose 1.1% to $2,477. Eight of top ten cryptos by market cap advanced. XRP led with a 2.2% gain, while Avalanche and TRX declined. The equal-weight of these top ten cryptos rose 0.82%, less than Bitcoin.
The advance was broad, but closing quality weakened. Only Bitcoin and BNB finished in the upper 30% of their daily ranges, down from eight assets a day earlier. Ether and Solana ended near their midpoints, while TRX closed near the bottom of its range.
The macro backdrop was supportive but mixed. The S&P 500 gained 0.58%, the Nasdaq rose 1.05% and the dollar index eased 0.14%.
The completed 20 October US fund session added $23.2 million to Bitcoin ETFs and lost $26.1 million from Ether ETFs.
Bitcoin support is near $84,000 and $82,537, with resistance around $84,850. Clearing resistance alongside stronger altcoin closes would strengthen the setup. Losing $84,000 would weaken it, and a break below $82,537 would invalidate the recovery.
- October 22, 2026 09:44
Delta Exchange Research Analyst Riya Sehgal on the markets
Bitcoin’s rebound toward $84.6K over the last 24 hours was supported by improving risk sentiment, stronger US equities and a sizeable short squeeze. SpaceX’s stronger-than-expected Q3 earnings helped revive confidence in the broader tech and AI trade, while roughly $110 million in crypto shorts were liquidated over a four-hour window as BTC pushed through the $84K area.
However, the key takeaway is that Bitcoin moved higher but failed to sustain the breakout. After testing roughly $84.3K–$84.6K, BTC faced renewed selling pressure and slipped back toward $82.9K. Despite the rejection, the 4-hour structure remains relatively constructive, with price still holding around the key EMA cluster between roughly $82.1K and $82.9K.
As long as $82K–$82.5K holds, another attempt toward $84K–$84.5K remains possible. A sustained breakout above that zone could reopen the path toward $86K–$87.7K, while a break below $82K would increase the risk of a deeper retracement toward $81.2K–$80K.
Ethereum continues to look weaker than Bitcoin after being rejected near its 4-hour 200 EMA around $2,510. ETH is now near $2,440, with $2,430–$2,450 acting as the immediate decision zone. Bulls need to reclaim $2,485–$2,510 to improve the short-term structure.
Overall, the market remains selective rather than fully risk-on. Bitcoin’s rejection shows sellers are still active at higher levels, while ETH and several major altcoins continue to lag.

Delivered another strong quarter, with 2QFY27 PPOP/PAT beating estimates by 5%/12%, driven by higher fees and lower credit costs.
PPOP growth was a healthy 20% YoY.
Calculated net slippages declined c.15bps YoY and the stage 2 + 3 loans ratio declined to a multi-year low.
Disbursement growth has accelerated over the past two quarters and should translate into stronger AUM growth in the coming quarters.
That said, a largely fixed-rate loan book and c.50% floating-rate borrowings could put pressure on spreads in a rate hike cycle.

Company navigated 1H volatility well augmenting underwriting scorecards, portfolio monitoring, and collections.
GS3/GS2 improved to 3.42%/4.7% (vs 3.45%/4.87% in 1Q, 3.41%/4.76% QoQ) on higher CE of 97% (vs 95%/96% YoY/QoQ).
Loan spreads narrowed 30bps as growth tilted toward trade advances (incremental 3% QoQ delta) & lifted liquidity to 10% of balance sheet size.
Disbursements rose 22% YoY, broad-based across PV (+28%), pre-owned vehicles (+15%), CV/CE (+16%), and tractors (+13%), driving 15%+ AUM growth.

FD NOV growth continued to accelerate for the fifth consecutive quarter to reach 21% YY driven by rising MTCs as well as order frequency.
Eternal appears confident of sustaining at least 20% YY growth in FD by holding margins flat over the next 1-2 years.
Blinkit NOV growth accelerated to 22% QQ while adj Ebitda margins improved 30bps QQ to 0.9% of NOV.
Confidence on FY29 QC NOV guide (60% CAGR) was reiterated with upgrades to Mar’27 DS target to 3500 (from 3000) & new Mar 28 target of 5000 stores

2Q broadly in-line with better growth and the contribution for Blinkit and Zomato.
Blinkit’s adj. Ebitda missed (lofty) expectations as Blinkit accelerated store additions, especially in smaller towns.
Management also guided for a flattish near-term adj. Ebitda margin for Zomato as it re-invests in growth.
Consequently, make significant changes (38%-78% to FY27-29 PAT) to reflect a faster store roll-out & marketing expenses

Crypto market testing higher price levels while absorbing selling pressure: Avinash Shekhar, Co-Founder & CEO, Pi42
“Bitcoin’s move above $84,000 before pulling back towards $82,000, reflects a market that is testing higher price levels while absorbing selling pressure. The encouraging sign is that Bitcoin has maintained a substantial recovery from its recent lows, while renewed trading activity suggests participants are actively positioning for the next move. Nearly $270 million in crypto positions were liquidated over 24 hours, predominantly short positions, while Bitcoin’s open interest rose 4.54%. This points to increased market participation, although sustained spot buying will be important to support further upside.
The regulatory backdrop is also evolving positively. The US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has finalised rules under the GENIUS Act, setting requirements for permitted payment stablecoin issuers. Clearer standards around reserves, redemptions and supervision could help strengthen confidence in the stablecoin ecosystem and support its integration into mainstream financial services.
For investors, the pullback towards $82,000 need not negate the significance of Bitcoin’s move above $84,000. Consolidation after testing resistance can allow the market to absorb profit-taking and establish a stronger base for its next move. If buying demand returns and Bitcoin reclaims the $84,000 to $84,800 range, it could create room for another attempt higher. The focus now is on whether the market can turn this recent momentum into a sustained recovery.”

Stock market outlook for today by Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money
Indian equity markets are likely to open on a cautious note and remain under pressure, as persistently high crude oil prices and escalating geopolitical tensions weigh on investor sentiment. WTI crude is trading near $98 a barrel, while Brent has moved above $110, keeping macroeconomic risks firmly in focus. The prospect of sustained energy-price pressures could temper hopes of a durable recovery in domestic equities.
Escalating US–Iran tensions and reports of attacks on Saudi infrastructure have heightened concerns over prolonged disruptions to Middle Eastern energy supplies. Uncertainty surrounding the Strait of Hormuz remains a key risk, with any further escalation likely to push crude prices higher and trigger renewed volatility across global markets. A meaningful easing of tensions, however, could help moderate the risk premium embedded in oil prices.
On the domestic front, quarterly earnings from heavyweight companies may provide pockets of support, although the broader market outlook remains fragile. Investors are likely to focus on earnings quality, management guidance and foreign institutional investor (FII) flows for signs of whether the recent attempt at recovery can gain traction amid an increasingly challenging external environment.
Asian markets are trading lower in early deals, with Japan’s Nikkei 225 down around 0.30% and South Korea’s KOSPI falling more than 1%, signalling a weak regional backdrop for Indian equities. With elevated oil prices, geopolitical uncertainty and corporate earnings likely to shape sentiment, domestic benchmarks may remain volatile, with the sustainability of any recovery hinging on global cues and the extent of buying support at lower levels.

Aditi Nayar, Chief Economist, ICRA Ltd on India's core output
“Core output rose by a robust 7.9% in September 2026, the fastest pace in the new series, with a favourable base supporting the improvement from the upward revised 5.9% growth seen in August 2026. The uptick was broad-based, with seven of the nine sectors, barring electricity and cement, recording an improvement in their performance in September 2026 vis-à-vis August.
Coal and iron ore output witnessed a meaningful pickup in their YoY growth rates in September 2026 compared to August 2026; while this was aided by a low base, the sequential uptick in coal was quite strong, amid low stocks at power plants. Refinery products output expanded by a series high 10.3% in September 2026, up from 5.6% in August 2026, supporting the growth in core output.
Growth in electricity generation eased somewhat to 11.4% in September 2026 from 13.1% in August 2026, albeit remaining quite strong, as the monsoon deficit supported demand in the month. ICRA now forecasts full year electricity growth at 8.5%, exceeding our baseline forecast for GDP growth for this fiscal (7.1%).
While cement output expanded by a robust 9.8% in September 2026, steel output growth was relatively muted at 4.9% in the month. However, trends in finished steel consumption suggest that construction activity likely remained healthy in the month.
Notwithstanding the uptick in core output expansion, ICRA expects the IIP growth to ease somewhat to 6.0-7.0% in September 2026 from 8.0% in August 2026, with an elevated base weighing on the non-core segment growth in the month.”

Bajaj Broking's Deputy Vice President-Research Pabitro Mukherjee's pre-market commentary
Nifty CMP: 22,811.35
Index formed a second consecutive sizable bearish candle with a lower high and lower low signaling continuation of the corrective bias as the index closed below the 20 days EMA. Nifty started the session on a strong note and formed an intraday high of 23,120 in the first hour of trade. However, sharp selling pressure at higher levels saw the index gave up its gains and dragged lower by more than 450 points from the day’s high to form an intraday low of 22,650. Pullback in the last hour of trade saw the index closed off the lows around 22,800 levels.
Nifty despite starting on a positive note failed to move above Monday’s high 23,175 and dragged sharply lower signaling continuation of the corrective consolidation in the range of 22,500-23,150. Nifty has support at 22,500-22,400 levels being the 80% retracement of the last two weeks pullback 22180-23,175. A breach below 22,400 will negate the last two weeks pullback and open downside towards recent low of 22,180.
On the higher side key level to watch is Monday’s high of 23,175, only a move above the same will signal pullback towards 23,300 and 23,500 levels in the coming weeks.

Indian equities are likely to open lower, with GIFT Nifty trading below 22,700: Hariselvan Radhakrishnan, Founder & CEO of HST Wealth
Indian equities are likely to open lower, with GIFT Nifty trading below 22,700 despite a positive overnight close on Wall Street. The divergence suggests that domestic sentiment remains more sensitive to elevated energy costs, high global borrowing rates and the weakness in the Nifty’s underlying structure.
Brent holding near $110 and the US 10-year Treasury yield around 5.1% could continue to restrict any recovery. Persistently expensive crude may reinforce domestic inflation concerns and delay expectations of policy support, while elevated US yields could keep foreign capital tilted toward dollar assets. Unless both indicators retreat meaningfully, opening declines may attract only tactical buying rather than signal a durable reversal.
Wall Street advanced on encouraging corporate earnings, but the rally was driven largely by stock-specific developments. This may improve broader sentiment at the margin, although its support for Indian equities could remain limited until pressure from oil, yields and foreign flows begins to ease.
On the technicals, the gap-down is likely to place 22,700 under immediate pressure. Failure to hold this level could extend the decline toward 22,600–22,500, while 22,900 and 23,000 are now the principal recovery hurdles. A rebound above 22,900 with support from banking stocks could stabilise the market; otherwise, the prevailing structure remains vulnerable to selling at higher levels.
The opening weakness may moderate if domestic institutions absorb the initial supply and Bank Nifty holds its recent support region. However, sustained trading below 22,700, accompanied by firm crude and bond yields, would increase the probability of another leg lower during the session.

Bitcoin trading close to a technical decision zone: WazirX trade desk report
“Bitcoin traded near $83,460, up approximately 0.6% over 24 hours, while Ether hovered around $2,452, marginally lower. Total cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at $2.79 trillion, with the Fear and Greed Index at a neutral 53, suggesting that confidence is recovering without widespread exuberance.
Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded daily net inflows of $289.8 million, according to the supplied dashboard, providing evidence of demand through regulated investment products. Meanwhile, Santiment’s October 21 figures put derivatives open interest at $23.4 billion for Bitcoin, $15.5 billion for Ether and $2.7 billion for Solana.
The combination of recovering prices and rising open interest suggests greater derivatives participation.
Bitcoin is trading close to a technical decision zone. The supplied moving-average snapshot places the 30-period simple moving average near $83,470 and the Hull moving average near $83,644.
Sustained trading above this band would strengthen the recovery case and bring $84,000 into focus. A break below $82,750 would weaken near-term momentum and expose the lower support zones.
Ether’s 2,400–2,500 psychological band provides an initial reference range. A sustained move above $2,500 would suggest improving momentum, while losing $2,400 would shift attention towards $2,350.
US equities advanced on October 21, with the Nasdaq gaining approximately 1.1%, the S&P 500 0.6% and the Dow 0.7%. Together with the supplied VIX reading of 16.68, down 3.64%, this suggests improving appetite for risk, a potentially supportive backdrop for Bitcoin.
However, if elevated energy prices persist and feed into broader inflation, expectations for Federal Reserve easing could weaken. Higher Treasury yields and a stronger dollar, should they follow, could constrain Bitcoin’s recovery.” - Nischal Shetty, Founder, WazirX
